Why You Need Instagram

Instagram is a voyeur’s dream.  If you’re not on it, you need to be, even if you choose to keep your account private and never post a single photo.  And if you’re already on Instagram or choose to get on Instagram after this post, you need to follow me!  I post a lot of photos on Instagram that never make it onto the blog, including outfit ideas, my favorite beauty products, places to eat, and things to see around L.A.

Don’t know where to begin?  Here are some of my favorite accounts:

For a gluttonous eye-feast, check out @NatGeo, @EarthPix, and @Voyagerpix. For lots of laughs, try the adorable @LauraIz, the insolent @FuckJerry, or the fashionably funny @ManRepeller. If home decor and entertaining are your interests, get endless inspiration from @KellyWearstler, @GlitterGuide, and @BloomDesignsOnline. A quick-fix for your inner-wanderlust can be had at @Bucket.List.Hotels and @FourSeasons. And for fabulous fashion, be sure to watch @Blaireadiebee (aspirational), @9to5chic (inspirational), and @DamselinDior (entertaining and relatable).

And if you still don’t know what purpose #hashtags serve, know this: hashtags are your friends. Whether you don’t know what to make for dinner and need a good #recipe, want ideas for your #diningroom remodel, are planning your next #vacation, are in a #cocktail rut and want something new, or you just want to check out some killer #art, you’re one hashtag away from an ocean of ideas. The pleasures of Instagram can be yours!

Below are a few recent photos I’ve posted on Instagram with links to places you can go to purchase what I’m wearing (or similar items).  And be sure to follow me for more ideas and inspiration!
