Ever since our trip to Montecito, I’ve had date night on the brain. My husband and I spend a lot of time together and – more specifically – a lot of social time together, either for work or with friends. So it can be easy to feel like we don’t really “need” a date night (especially when the kids hint that they’ve been seeing a little too much of the babysitter lately.) But we know we need it and – thankfully – we like it!
This is a fabulous summer date-night dress. It’s made from a lightweight chambray denim, so it’s perfect for summer nights. It’s sexy, it’s flirty, is casual, (it’s easy to remove if that’s your idea of a successful date!) What better way to remind you and your husband what a hot, fun wife you are? I promise, you’ll both be glad you wore it.
(Can’t go without a bra? Keep reading!)
Have a little more cleavage? I say show it off if you’ve got the good stuff! But if you prefer allusion to exposition – or you just need the support of a good bra – I have good news for you: the lacing on this dress can be self-adjusted to allow for as much or as little of you to be revealed as you’d like. You can easily tighten the laces on the bodice to conceal a bra and loosen them up at the top for an alluring hint at what lay underneath.
DVF makes the best clutches and I love this one for summer. It’s the perfect size for a few date-night items. Try it with an all-white ensemble to add a little texture and subtle pattern (or to show off your tan, if you have one!)
