I’m embarrassed to admit that, despite having grown up in Colorado, skiing 40+ days a year on Vail mountain (best of the best!), I haven’t taken my kids skiing until this year.
But fortunately, it was a trip for the record books.
Here we are with our game faces on….
We arrived in Mammoth around 7 p.m. Easter night and for the next three days, we hit the slopes at 8 a.m., road the gondola down at 4 p.m., ate and early dinner with friends and were asleep – dirty, sore, exhausted and happy – by 9 p.m. It was such a thrill to see my kids take to the whole experience like lifelong skiers. I can’t believe I waited so long!
