The recent tragedies in Houston are yet another reminder of how fortunate I am to live in such a mild climate. No place beats L.A. when it comes to fabulous weather, year-round. It is – essentially – a desert and, as is typical for a desert climate, you can count on the temperature dropping by 15-20 degrees when the sun goes down.
You’ll hear no complaints from me about this! But it means that no matter how hot you are at 5 p.m., you’ll be wishing you had a sweater by 7 p.m. Which is exactly why a gorgeously demure, airy sweater like this one is a great piece for any Southern California woman to own this time of year. It’s light enough to catch the afternoon breeze and warm enough to keep the chill away after sunset. I love it.
(P.S. These jeans by Frame are my new favorite pair. They fit like a glove, are super comfortable and I didn’t even have to have them hemmed!)
1. Uber-feminine, white Gauze Sweater. 2. Frame, dark wash skinny jeans. 3. Baggu saddle clutch (on sale for $19!). 4. These exact Gucci flats are not currently available, but these are similar and these are darling.
(For a lower-cost alternative, try this blouse.)
