There’s nothing sexier to me than the sight of my husband in a suit. Monogrammed white dress shirt, cuff links, the occasional pocket square…. Dashing. And he always looks great in his go-to athletic wear. But when it comes to casual clothes, he sometimes needs a little help.
I confess, I’ve never been particularly good at shopping for my husband. But over the years, after much trial and error, I’ve learned a thing or two about what works.
Like most men, my husband’s requirements are simple: cool (but not too trendy), comfortable and EASY. He likes simple staples that can be mixed and matched and reworn over and over again. So I stick to good quality basics that will last in classic colors that will outlast trends.
With that criteria in mind, I set out to buy him the perfect outfit for his birthday gift this year. And – if I may say so – I think I nailed it.
The look is modern, relaxed and cool. I especially love the shoes which give it a grown-up polish without compromising the “I’m not a guy who cares about fashion” vibe. And I can’t think of a single male friend of mine that wouldn’t look great in this.
Check it out! (Father’s Day is right around the corner!)
