Nothing says winter like a fair isle sweater. Here in sunny Southern California, last week brought just enough of a fall chill in the air to put us in the mood for cozy sweaters. Although it may have passed for a little while, it will be back and I plan to be ready.

On my wish list this week is this fabulous fair isle sweater from Victoria Beckham, paired with Burgundy jeans and subtle hints of pink in the form of pink sunglasses and rose gold diamond studs. This is cozy glam at it’s best.

As obsessed as I am with this sweater, I’m not in the market for four-figure sweaters (and I’m guessing you aren’t either), so here is a more affordable way to achieve the same cozy-glam look this fall.

Full disclosure: I don’t know if I’ve shopped at L.L. Bean since my mom bought me my first pair of duck boots back in the eighties. But this nubby cable knit sweater, which is cropped to hit just below the waist, is speaking to me. I’m also crushing pretty hard on this rich, oxblood-colored crossbody bag.
